MexiTamales's recipes and different menu items are the result of ideas from various restaurants across the United States and some of Faustino's original ideas. Faustino Cortes, who owns and runs the company with his partner Carlota Rosas, got the idea for MexiTamales after getting laid off from a company he devoted 15+ years to. He figured that the money had to come from somewhere and since he has been in the food service industry for well over 25 years this would definitely be right up his alley. Faustino wants to focus on Catering food to all areas in Houston. His dream is to open MexiTamales Catering chains all over the United States. Every weekend and every day of the week someone, somewhere is celebrating something. Why not add tamales to your event? The motto of MexiTamales is "Mexican Food Done Better!" and its mission is to give the community another fast food alternative. The company has one location at the moment: Copperfield.
